Focused today

1h 15m

A complete working system

A focus rhythm connected to meaningful work

The timer is part of the same system as your tasks and daily plan, so every completed interval leaves useful context behind.

Configure every interval

Set the length of focus sessions, short breaks, long breaks, and the number of sessions between long breaks.

Attach the current task

Choose from today's and overdue tasks so each focus session starts with a clear outcome instead of an abstract countdown.

Move through automatic breaks

A completed focus session starts the appropriate break automatically; the next work session waits for you to begin it.

Log distractions quickly

Record what pulled your attention without ending the session, then return to the task while the context is still fresh.

Keep the timer with you

The active timer continues across normal navigation and reconciles elapsed time after a sleeping or reconnecting browser tab.

Review focused time

Completed sessions contribute to today's history, the attached task's actual time, and longer-term productivity analytics.

A Pomodoro timer with task context

Focus on a specific outcome, not just a countdown

A focus timer creates a boundary around attention, but the timer is more useful when it knows what the time is for. FocusPilot lets you attach one of today's or overdue tasks to the session. The task title stays visible, and completed focus time becomes part of that task's actual-time history instead of ending as an isolated timer statistic.

Session lengths are configurable, so the rhythm can fit the kind of work you do. Choose a focus interval, short break, long break, and long-break frequency in Settings. You can also start a break directly when recovery is what the moment requires.

  • Configurable focus and break lengths
  • Today and overdue task selection
  • Pause, reset, and end-session controls
  • Recorded time on the attached task

Recovery stays automatic; work stays intentional

Use automatic breaks without starting unattended work

When a focus interval finishes, FocusPilot chooses the correct short or long break and begins it automatically. That removes the small decision between effort and recovery. When the break ends, the timer returns to Focus but remains stopped, so another work session never begins while you are away from the screen.

During the session, use the distraction log to note an interruption without abandoning the timer. Completed sessions appear in today's history with their duration, task, and distraction count. Analytics then turns that record into a longer view of focused output, helping you understand the rhythms you can actually sustain.

  • Automatic short and long breaks
  • Manual start for every new focus session
  • In-session distraction capture
  • Daily history and longer-term analytics

From intention to completion

Start focused work in four small decisions

Reduce the distance between choosing a task and doing sustained work on it.

  1. 1

    Choose a task

Select the outcome in front of you from today's or overdue work.

  2. 2

    Start the interval

Use your configured focus length and keep the task visible while the timer runs.

  3. 3

    Capture interruptions

Log distractions briefly, then return attention to the session without losing the record.

  4. 4

    Recover and review

Take the automatic break, then review completed time before intentionally starting again.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

Is FocusPilot a Pomodoro focus timer?

Yes. FocusPilot supports configurable focus, short-break, and long-break intervals, plus a configurable number of focus sessions before each long break.

Can I connect a focus session to a task?

Yes. The task selector shows today's and overdue tasks. Completed focus time contributes to the attached task's actual-time history.

Do breaks start automatically?

Yes. Completing a focus session starts the appropriate short or long break. After the break, Focus mode is ready but stopped until you intentionally start the next session.

What happens if I navigate away from the Focus page?

The timer continues across normal in-app navigation. It also reconciles elapsed time after the browser tab sleeps or reconnects instead of treating the pause as extra time.
