Legal
Terms and Conditions
Last updated 5 September 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of FocusPilot. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use FocusPilot for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
1. The service
FocusPilot provides productivity, planning, scheduling, focus, note-taking, goal-tracking, booking, analytics, and optional business-management features. Features can change over time as we improve the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and meet the minimum age required where you live. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, safeguarding your credentials, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our breach of these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use FocusPilot to:
- Violate applicable law or another person's rights.
- Upload malicious code, probe security controls, disrupt the service, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Send spam, deceptive communications, or unlawful material through bookings, reminders, email, or integrations.
- Scrape, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Use automated access in a way that exceeds documented interfaces or materially burdens the service.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit to FocusPilot. You grant us a limited license to host, process, reproduce, transmit, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content and share any guest or client information you provide.
5. Bookings, email, and Google Calendar
Booking-page owners are responsible for their availability, meeting descriptions, guest communications, and compliance with applicable email and privacy laws. FocusPilot may deliver confirmations and reminders on the owner's behalf while identifying the booking owner and meeting concerned.
If you connect Google Calendar, you authorize FocusPilot to use the permissions you approve to create, update, and cancel booking events and generate Google Meet links. Your use of Google services is also governed by Google's applicable terms. You can disconnect the integration at any time, but previously created calendar events may remain in your calendar.
6. Optional AI features
AI-generated suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect and should be reviewed before you rely on or act on them. You are responsible for determining whether submitted content is appropriate for processing and whether an AI-generated result is suitable for your use.
7. Finance, trading, and wellbeing features
These optional features are organizational tools and do not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, or mental-health advice. You remain responsible for professional advice, decisions, transactions, records, and regulatory obligations.
8. Third-party services
Some features depend on third-party services, including hosting, email, notifications, AI providers, and Google services. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or changes to their terms. Your use of them can require a separate account or agreement.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep FocusPilot reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal, or product reasons. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice of material changes that adversely affect active users.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using FocusPilot and delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a serious Terms violation, security risk, unlawful conduct, or harm to the service or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
11. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, FocusPilot is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, FocusPilot and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities resulting from use of the service. Our total liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for FocusPilot during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, or security changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change is material. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
