Write and organize notes
Notes provide a two-pane writing workspace with Markdown preview, colors, pinning, Areas, and search. Pin durable reference material and use Areas to keep it beside related tasks.
Select New note, then use Pin, the color, the Area and Preview/Edit as you write. Changes save when you leave a field. You can attach files to a note. Deleting a note is immediate and can't be undone.
Create reminders
- 1On the Reminders page, add a title, a time (in your timezone) and, if you like, a repeat. Or open a task and add a reminder in its Reminders section (one date and time, no repeat).
- 2Edit, tick off or delete reminders on the Reminders page; Show completed lists past ones.
- 3Choose how reminders reach you in Settings → Notifications → Reminders: in-app, email and push are all on by default. For push, also turn on Browser notifications on each device.
Recurring reminders move to their next occurrence after they fire. Separately, high- and urgent-priority tasks get an automatic reminder about 30 minutes before they're due (High-priority task reminders in Settings → Notifications).
Reuse checklists
Checklists are useful for procedures that contain several small steps but do not need separate task scheduling. Add inline items, drag them into the order you need (or use the move buttons), choose a marker color, and decide whether the list resets daily, weekly, monthly, or never.
Suggest adds AI-suggested items. Deleting a checklist or ticking an item can be undone with ⌘Z. Resets happen on your first visit of a new day, week (Monday) or month.
