Create and organize tasks
A task can include notes, an Area, priority, due and scheduled times, planned duration, tags, a linked goal, recurrence, subtasks, and comments. Use only the fields that help you make a decision.
Quick add understands compact phrases such as “Pay invoice Friday 2pm #work !high.” Review the result in the task details sheet when timing matters.
Use Areas
- 1Select the plus button beside Areas in the sidebar to create one.
- 2Choose a name, color, and optional parent Area.
- 3Open an Area's management menu to edit or delete it.
- 4Select an Area in the sidebar to open its filtered task view.
Deleting an Area does not give another user access to its content. All Area and task operations remain scoped to your workspace.
Filter, group, and save a view
- 1Choose List, Board, or Calendar at the top of Tasks.
- 2Open Filters to narrow by Area, status, priority, due date, or tags. Filter state is kept when you leave and return.
- 3Choose a grouping such as due date, Area, priority, or status.
- 4Select Save view, give the setup a name, and optionally mark it as a favorite.
Run bulk actions
Selection checkboxes stay hidden during normal use so they do not compete with the task-completion circles.
- 1Select the Select button to enter selection mode.
- 2Choose individual tasks or Select all visible.
- 3Complete, reprioritize, move, retag, or reschedule the selected tasks.
- 4Select Done to return to the normal task list.
